Bought my new AC H1 and really am having a blast with it. Don't get me wrong, has plenty of power, just seems to be a little slow to respond.
Can anyond recommend the best upgrades?
1. Exhaust
2. CDI
3. air intake
4. jetting
5. Also tires, still running stock
not wanting to sink a ton of money, just what works best and what is really not worth the expense.
Thanks!

is it brand new. if so give it some time to break in. then it will really wake up. as far as mods. try the carb slide and spring mod its free and easy. also a cdi will be a great improvement. but a pipe will really help out too. the pipe will make you have to rejet. so youll kill 2 birds with one stone there. 2" snorks will help it breath better as well and you can snork for about $30 but again youll have to rejet

Hey ya'll, I have a 2007 650 h1 got it in december. I do agree with Rango except im impatient.
So-27 in. swampwitch 260.00
my new itp rims 292.00 Put them on today..
K & N filter 50.00
jets for carb 5.00 got them at the harley dealer. Many of them also use Keihen carbs.
got a 08 intake to air box, rerouted to left side instead of to front by radiator. Better air flow and lots less dirt.
Still waiting on hmf (penland) exaust. approx. 280.00
Gonna wait till fall to redo clutch springs and belt..
Runs much better than when i first got it. The exaust & springs are suppose to make a big difference, esp. on low & mid range..

If you go to Arcticchat.com web site there is detailed instructions on how to do the Secondary Clutch Mod in the pinned section. I did it to mine and it made a huge difference with acceleration and response time. It takes away the lag from the time you give it gas and when it really starts to take off. It's basically free other than having to buy a few things from the hardware store ( $10-$15 tops) and its really simple, just takes a few hours to do.

Got my 650 running pretty good but still gotta get the pipe and clutch kit.
My wifes new A/C 250--that things dangerous-- Nail the throttle from a stand still and it will flip.. Its fun as hell. light and slides great on flat stuff, mud, grass damn near anything and still climbs hills great.
Can't throw the 650 around like the 250...
