Length of ATV + plow
#1
Howdy All,
Love the site......
I have a 2005 AC 400 ATV and I am thinking of buying a plow. Not a big issue. BUT, I am also thinking of buying a shed for the ATV. The shed is 8' x 8'. I just measured the ATV and it is 7' 4" in length. Am I going to have room to park the ATV in the shed with a plow on? Or am I cutting it too close? The doors are wide enough, but not sure about the depth?
Thoughts?

After equipping it with a plow, you are not going to be able to fit it in your shed! According to your measurements you have under 8 inches to spare. A plow will add more than 8 inches. Sorry for the bad news!!

I agree, I have both a 50"warn plow and a 60" Moose Country Plow, I use it the most, on my TRV and it is easily near 10ft long. Moose plow sticks out about 18-20 inches past the bumper. 8ft by 10ft shed would be a nice snug fit.
Just to see how it would work park the machine in the middle of your lawn and measure out the 4 corners of the shed. Make sure you have enough room to move around it and such. I would even go to a 10 by 12 so you have enough room to work on the machine if anything breaks.
If you have a long driveway and don't get a ton of wet snow the moose country plow is an excellent choice.
