Do I have to use Arctic Cat brand oil and lube? If not what do you use? Thanks.

Arctic Cat does not make a 500 EFI.........yet.
I use Mobil 1, 0W-40 Fully Synthetic in all my"Wet Clutch" ATV's. Wal Mart sells a 5qt jug for $23.00.
As long as you don't use an oil that has friction modifiers, you will be fine. Look on the label and if you see "Energy Conserving" in the API rating stamp, do not use in a wet clutch motor or you could have clutch slippage. I also used Penzoil 10W-40 for years without any problems.

My Dealer recommended the Suzuki Full Synthetic 15w50 for my AC 700 TRV.
