I have heard that ITP has bought Titan and redone the 589's. After I checked on the Cawood tire site it appears that it is true. One of the main reasons I was interested in the 589's was they seemed to be a great compromise tire. Not too stiff, not too aggressive, not really as tall as stated. They would be a great do everything tire(rocks, mud, climbing ridges) and not make the bike ride a lot rougher or get tippy. So this gets me to the question has anyone seen them? How deep is the tread, and have they made them a lot more aggressive? If so I am wondering if I should re-think what I put on this. If so any recomendations? The bike is a CAT 500, 2001.

Well I hear the ITP version is bigger than the Titian version. One guy said his ITP Versions were 1.5" taller than his Titian versions, and thats the same size stamped on the side too.
