cat wont do nothing

Default cat wont do nothing

i have a 2002 500 artic cat and i was ridding down a trail and shut down have no spark no ignition power to starter all fuses are good

You might try looking at where the wiring harness goes down the steering column. There are a couple of wiring harness plugs there that will kill the machine if the come unplugged. It is a tight fit for those wires and they bind.

Also, look for any shorts while your there. My 650 did the same thing. There was a little burr from the welding on the steering shaft that wore through some of the wires and caused it to die. Took the plastics loose and found it. A little filing and elec tape...good to go!

try the silonid i had the same problem its like you turned the key off and no batt

Skoalman, you talking about the starter silonoid?

500AC, do you have lights, brake light, inst. cluster come on?

my actic cat trv do the same think it was the pick up coil,in the stator .find one in rmstator.com
