Is the 250 Arctic Cat a good buy or not?

 

imo the best cat or any other quad is the one that fits your needs. i needed to skid logs, plow lots of snow any be able to get just about anywhere i feel like going. i have a 500 auto. my other reason for the auto was my 'ol lady needs the simplicity in order to concentrate on not killing herself, hehehe. dispite myself i love the auto. this aint the snappiest thing around, its kinda like a little truck. pulls like an ox, rides like a caddy, climbs like a goat, drinks like a 454 and don't complain like my wife.

 

I would have to agree with badhabits, You need to decide how you are going to use it and how much you can afford. For just simple trail riding the 250 will get you anywhere you want to go. If you're into heavy work then the 250 will reach its limits pretty fast. The 250 is a great machine and has a lot of capabilities for the price.
