2008 AC 650 H1 cold starting
#1
Hi all!
New to the forum, but not to the sport. I just purchased myself a new 2008 AC 650 H1- sweet machine, loads of power. I plan on using this for ice fishing- the dealer showed me where the "cold start" primer is, but that is a CRAZY location- I dont want to have to tear off the side cover in -20 to fire the beast up.
Has anyone done any mods to run a mechanical lever or something down to the lever, so it can be primed while sitting on the quad? Interested to hear any ideas...thanks!

I own an '08 650H1 TRV as well.
FYI : if you pull the seats, there is a (small) space just behind the cubby assembly and infront the pwr soleniod box. You "should" be able to reach down and reach your carb primer (on the back of the carb) & also adjust your idle ****.
It's a tight squeeze but it saves cracking the side panels getting them off.
Hope this helps
Good luck.
