just joined today, and just wanted to say hey to everybody.
arctic cats website says rebate could end/change at anytime but also says See dealer for details and program dates (fine print on rebate page)
local dealers tell me they have no idea on rebate dates. any dealers on this site or anybody know
how long the $800.00 rebate will last. im looking at the 700 h1,and have saved over half the funds and should have the rest by jan. 09
im just worried there rebates may change or even end by 2009 ?

I beleive the promotions end and the end of December. Go to http://www.arcticcat.com/atv/cantBeatIt.asp they explain the rebate they have to offer. I talked to my local dealer and he is telling me that it does end at the end of December

Yeah it is a gamble on any manufacturer's rebates or promo's.

When I bought my first two Cats in 2003 I missed the 2yr or 3yr extended warranty by one week! So I only got the standard 6mo to 1yr whatever it was. But I did get the Warn 2.5 ton winch with installation for $69! best money I have spent so far.

I believe their next promotion usually runs fom January to the end of June.

sounds like my luck.
if anybody can remember what the rebate was in january 2008, please post.ive searched and only came up with what the rebate was in jan. of 07 and it was only like $300 back then.seems like sales are down this year and so the promotions are sweet.im not goin to worry about it to much but $800 bucks and a 3 year warranty would suck to miss out on.

You could always go in at the last minute.
Like has been stated most of these change at the end of the month, but may be extended.
One thing is for sure get ALL of the details ahead of time.
I have had dealers say they were taking the cash off then add on a bunch of other BS.
Make sure if the warranty is avail....that you get it all in writing.
BEFORE you pull the trigger, my good nature has allowed me to get stuck more than once.
It's one of the reasons I didn't buy local on my TRV, bait and switch type stuff.
The yammie dealer was a straight shooter though.
Ya just never know.
With the economy the way it is, it's hard to tell what might happen.

6k but that was when all they had was the $400 rebate.
There was a dealer on ebay selling one for $5395 don't know if there were other fees added after auction.
I don't mind fees, I just want to know the OTD price with no added BS.
If it's told up front I know where I stand.
I would shop local first tell them exactly what you want, the ball is in their court then.
I would have paid what my local dealer wanted, so I would have a good relationship with them.
BUT they told me the price, then added, can't remember exact numbers, but it was around $500.
This was while I was standing there checkbook in hand. I was honest with him and told him I didn't like it.
Didn't seem to phase him, so I left. If you are doing biz like that when you WANT my money how are you going to treat me on other issues?
That really turned me off.
I knew I wanted to mod this machine so I decided warranty wasn't really an issue.
