turns over slow?

my new 700 efi cat turns over slow.2 miles on it .took it back to the dealer and they said it was the batery.they put a new one in it but after 1 day of sitting its hesitates before it starts,,i cheched the batery and its got 12.7v after sitting all day without using it and about 14.2v when its running...any ideas?

I think you need to get the engine broke in. Say 500-1000miles and see if it still does it after that. You may also check you battery connections to make cure they are good, tight, and clean.

I'll get 6+ years on my snowmobile batteries by using (1) battery trickle charger with 2 batteries (on the bench).
My 2004, 500 AC TRV still has the original battery and it starts strong. I use a winch all the time, both for pulling and working the snow plow all winter. PLUS, I am a firm believer in charging my batteries once in a while even if they're O.K..
