Default dvx 400 temp light

Hello all, my first post. I just bought a 2006 Dvx 400 and I love it. However, today as I was riding in the snow I noticed that the temperature light came on and the fan was not running. Any ideas?

There are any number of possible things going on here......you need to ask yourself a few things.....

Is the coolant level good?
Is the coolant circulating?
Is the thermostat working properly?
Is the sending unit working properly?

I have a 2007 that did that once. I found a fuse on the right hand side of the radiator. it was bad. I put a new one it and it fixed it. it was in a rubber cover. hope it helps.
