hi, anyone got a 300 dvx? how's it ride and what do you like about it or dislike. i'm thinkin about buying a several of them for the wife and kids. but since it's a new model, i cannot find any write ups on them. sure would appreciate any input.

 

i bought a 300 dvx 3 weeks ago fairly impressed with the power also the automatic is alright for the trails i did manage to pull a wheelie on it with some effort seems to excel more in mid range speeds im kind of new to the atv seen at almost 40 years old thats why i didnt buy something crazy right of the bat but if they come up with some performance parts im liable just to keep riding it

 

yea i'm thinkin about one for the woman. w/better than average shocks,disc brakes all around, and a smaller frame it should be pretty manuverable - quick handling and good brakes. did you find it so? thanks

 

Dirt Wheels did a test a few months back, and I seem to remember them giving it a positive review. I'm sure if you look online at the ATV mags one of them will have some review you could read.

I bought one about 2 months ago and cant complain about it. I ride it almost every day. I will definatly upgrade some parts once they are available. It's still so new that there are not any performance parts out yet. I look every day. The thing i have found is a jet kit. It has good power. With a little bit of effort not hard to ride a wheelie. handling i think is real good. i have come close to rolling it going way to fast while i was trying to make a turn. That way my fault though. She does stop pretty good. The only thing i hate about is that some times i can hear her bogg down and put some strain on the engine. And that depends on what i am doing.
