my 2008 700 will crank over but wont fire up,untill you give it a little gas then it starts up. this is not all the time though. Yes,its under warranty i just wanted some opinions of what you all might think it is before i take it in. 250 miles on it. my guess is ecm or fuel pump? Obviously i shouldnt have to give it any gas since its efi. thanks.

 

You might try replacing the spark plugs or cleaning the one that there. Also, does it have a choke? I am assuming if it does its electroninc? it might not be working. Clean air filter too to tule that out.Then, since it is computerized. Take it in and have them look at the ECU module for error codes.SJ

 

Yeah the first time it did it it had about 150 miles on it with original spark plug, so i replaced it. it did it again though, air filter is clean(im a clean freak when it comes to my vehicles). Its electonic fuel injected so choke is electric. my other possible fix is my new ECU from VDI(copperhead). This may cure my problem. Thanks for the respond.
