Pipes
#1
Hey everyone I'm new to the atv world so I don't really know what I'm looking for. I just bought a new Thundercat and I would like to get a new pipe for it, the louder the better. What should I get.

Loud pipes will not make you any faster (especially with a badass ride like a TC)...it will just get you noticed.
If you own large acreage, and you know for a fact that your neighbors are not bothered by your noisy riding (because you asked them) then why not just run straight pipes...that'll fix your noise jones.
However, if you don't have your own property and plan on sharing public or privately owned riding areas with the rest of us, skip the noisy exhaust and help the rest of us in our efforts to keep from having land closures caused by irresponsible ATV riders. Irresponsible riders create excessive noise, leave trash, destroy land/cause erosion....things that non-riders (and there are LOTS more of them than us) don't like to tolerate and initiate lawsuits/land closures over.
If you gotta have attention, paint your new TC neon pink...you'll get all the attention you'll need without getting the attention you don't need.
Okay, you've heard my rant, but if you'll look and see the frightening rate at which land is being closed off the ATV riding, you'll see a bleak future for our sport is coming unless we do something about it now

Oh yeah...HMF does make a loud exhaust...the "Utility Series"...but if you get the "Quiet Core" for an additional $20, it will lower the noise significantly to where you don't get unwanted attention for being too loud. Take out the quiet core (a few small bolts) when you're on your own property and you'll never hit a wild animal for sure
