well i just closed the deal on the phone with the dealer and i talked to my bank and they said buy it so monday i am taking a road trip down to sauk centre minnesota to pick up my brand new 2008 700 efi they were about 1000 dollars cheaper then my local dealer and i am excited as i haven't bought a new fourwheeler since my 04 650 v2. i also ordered hand and thumb warmers, front brush guard and winch. total came to 6100. does the 08's have the suspension that squats 1 inch when you sit on it or was that the 09's that started that? doesn't matter i'm excited. then when i get it i am going to put my 27 inch itp 589's on it right away and i want to find some silver fenders for it through salvage and put the stock fenders away for when i sell it in the future. is there anything to watch for on this machine? any little secrets?

 

Congrats! I believe it was the 09s with the ride-in suspension. The only thing i had to do to my 08 700 was adjust the TPS(throttle positioning sensor) very easy to do. The bike would idle rough and die sometimes. The dealer should do it for ya though.

 

I have a 08 700 efi with 1300+ miles and no problems. run 26" terracross xd's love them..run mostly trails, dirt rds, some mud.

 

I've seen the Sauck Centre prices, wish they weren't so far away. I'm in the market for a TRV... while you're over there, can you pick up that H2 Cruiser for me? Mighty good price they had on it - $9k for a new 09.

 

send me the money john, and they been getting them from arctic cat salvage and the sales guy told me they sold like 137 atv's last month. i was very impressed with how friendly they were so far and how they worked with me. the dealer i used to go through that was really good closed down back in 04 after i bought my v2 and i been looking for a replacement dealer since. i think i found one in sauk centre. within the next couple years i plan on buying my fiancee a 550 efi.
