Default articat 400 4x4 issues

ok its a manuel and when i ride over rough ground or spin out in reverse it slips in and out of gear any ideas im thinking maybe theres a keeper or a spring in the tranny thats is broke or week

also anyone got any place i could get a snorkel i cant find one for a 400 and a 500 wont work so im told anyways

your foot shifter may need to be adjusted. I cant remember how its done. I had to do it on my 300 along time ago. Or are you talking about the lever for forward and reverse? If so that may also be out of adjustment.

i think that its in the foot shifter part ill look and see if i can adjust it thank for the advice

you can adjust your clutches on motor there is a small cover on right side of motor with 2 10mm bolts. go to your arctic cat dealer and get a copy how to adjust the clutchs. if there a good dealer they will give you a copy or charge a liitle bit for the copy.I would start with this first.
