Will not start with electric start. Engine rotates when trying but that's it. This happens with first start of the day or when it is cold. I can pull start it usually on the first try. After engine is warmed up it will then start with electric. Any suggestions before I sink too much money into something it ain't. LOL

 

Three things that come to mind for hard starting are choke, valve adjustments and a dirty carb.

I believe the 06 has an electric choke? But check to make sure it works properly.

Usually if it needs cleaning that takes care of #3 as well.

Having valve tappets out of adjustment can also cause this but you would need like 1500mi or so on the machine.

sounds like a bad battery to me. but while you are at it i would clean the carb and also put in a new plug.
