Thoughts on this for a newbie?

Im looking at a 2005, arctic cat 500 with 50' plow, 2000 miles on it for $3000. is this a fair deal? seems like every time i ponder a bike, someone else comes in and buys it so i would like to pull the trigger soon. anything i should be aware of on this model?
thanks in advance.

This is a good buy. I have an 04 500 and love it. In 05, they upgraded several things like a locking front differential (wish I had one of those).
I can't remember some of the other things, but I know when I go after parts, it seems mine is the same as an 03. The 05 had better brakes all the way around. Many other things are the same as mine. I don't think any engine or transmission changes happened. I think Arctic Cat changed assembly plants somewhere around 04 to 05 moving into a bigger and more advanced operation. From what I have heard, the quality control improved starting with the 05 models.
Best of luck getting it...
