Default Differential fluid change

What is the easiest way to change diff fluid in front and rear I have a 03 400 auto fis. I also have a plow mounting plate attached to the bottom of the atv. Looks like a pretty tight fit to get to the drain plug.

Any suggestions to make this easier.

Here is a cheat I use on my snowmobile chain case. it sucks the old chain case oil out without having to split the chain case.

It might leave 10% of the old stuff behind but the new 90% mixed with it should not make it matter.

If you can get the ATV up off the frount a ways on jack stands you can use a 1-1/4 inch hole saw to drill a proper hole in your skid plate to get the fluid to not drain onto the skid plate.

As TLC said you can use a fluid transfer pump too. Harbor Freight sells a cheap one for like $5. The fill plug is MUCH larger than the drain plug anyway and far easier to get at.

I change mine by removing the skid plate but with your plow mount that would take a little more effort. Good thing you don't have to change it very often!
