that being said, do you think i should get one? and do the 650's have about the same power as a 700?

yeah, i think they are good atvs. either one. i would maybe stay away from the early model 650s(cant remember what year,06? maybe) due to the bevel gear issues. The 2008 700 had the diff problem but if you find one that has been taken care of and the diff is fixed then id say any year is good. Keep in mind a used atv can be a problem due to misuse so dont get mad at me if you find a junker, haha. i love my 700 and when i comes down to which atv i want for going in to the mountains, i choose the cat over my polaris RZR and can am outlander. and yes they are both about the same in speed. main difference is the EFI on the 700.

I have a 2008 H1 650 and only thing i've done to it is change a boot that i tore while breaking through the river bottom. I love that 4 wheeler, it's been great and i've never had an issue with any mechanical or axles anything. I like the way it rides and it's got plenty of torque.

I Have A 2012 Arctic Cat 700 EFI 4wd with a snorkel and 29.5 high lifter outlaws ,and a 3.5 inch lift kit on it ,and its pretty good except i had it start making a weird grinding sound when changing in to L,H,N,R and began to shift harder but other than that its good.
