Default 2000 AC500 manual

Found a 2000 model AC500 manual shift that has 66 miles on it. Not sure how someone can average 5 miles a year on something, but the quad looks pretty legitimate. Has just sat in a garage for most of its life. They want $3000 for. Right now, I'm trying to decide if I want to go look at the thing or not, its about 45 miles away and I'm scared I might buy the thing if it checked out good. Pictures of it look showroom new, though I still can't wrap my mind around something 13 years old having less miles on it than I've put on one in a single day. I originally thought it was a 2001, as I didn't remember them having selectable 4wd/2wd in 2000, but maybe I was wrong. I had a 99 just like it for nearly 4 years and sold it with 2300 miles on it for $4300 back in 2001. Maybe its the nostalgia creeping up. If nothing else, I figure I could buy it and sell my mom's 06 Rancher 2wd that never gets ridden.

$3000 is a bit high as I would consider any motorized machine be it a bike, atv, or snowmobile that is 13 years old with almost no miles on it to be gummed up inside or rusted from lack of use. Offer $1000.....and good luck!

bought a 2008 King Quad 450axi with 635 miles on it instead for $3500. Likely the right choice there. Realized it was Arctic Cat nostalgia kicking in from the 99 I used to have. Then remembered that it really wasn't that great of a quad compared to more modern offerings.

The KingQuad is a great choice! I have a buddy with the exact model you mentioned and it's awesome in every aspect except for horsepower, which is ok for most driving.
