2008 trv 500 replacing 4x4 modual

2008 trv 500 replacing 4x4 modual
I just received my need part and I will be installing it on Sunday. I know that there is only 3 screws holding it on, when I remove it, will any oil come out, is there any thing i need to know about it. thanks
