2014 Arctic Cat 500 trv ATV Spring Load Adjustment

Anyone have preload suggestions for the springs. I am new to riding. I bought it set at the lowest setting with the most play. I went on a 2 day ride in Maine and all seemed good just didnt know what the suggested or best anyone has found is.

I think, if you were comfortable riding, leave them where they are. You just want to avoid having too much squat when you sit down, not enough stiffness where you bottom out a lot, or being so stiff that you're in pain every time you ride.

The should be set to utilize the maximum travel for your weight & riding style. They should bottom out only on the largest of bumps for a comfy ride. If you want more aggressive riding and less body roll in the corners...crank them up!

I applaud all of you for the help. I'm somewhat new to riding so the info in ATV connection has been awesome. I did a 2 day ride in Maine with the suspension having the most play. From what I gathered in the links you guys sent was that I need to tighten up the rear a little because it was feeling squirrelly when I was cruising. I didn't bottom out at all and I was on some shale ledges on a mountain so I assume tighten the rear a little and keep the front loose
