Default arctic cat 300 4x4

I have a 2001 arctic cat 300 4x4 my stock exhaust is all rusted out and full of holes I am having a really hard time trying to find a replacement muffler a new stock one is right around $500 I do not want to spend that much. I know that it is a slip on style that has a clamp on the out side. I have taken it off and the pipe size is 32mm (or 1 1/4") does any one know of an after market muffler that will work that will slip on in its place. not looking for really load or not to much money it is for my wife's quad. any help would be very great full and thank you in advance

Any good welder or a muffler shop should be able to make you one, probably even stainless steel. I gutted out the muffler and had a bigger tip welded on. Didn't cost much. I think there are a couple springs that you need to remove, then it slides right off. I think you'll pay more for a slip on than a second hand eBay one. As far as making the flare in the front, I think a 2 5/16" trailer hitch ball in a press will do it.

start hitting up ebay and the motorsports salvage yards.. Or if you have a buddy with a welder cut out the bad sections and weld in some fresh steel
