Default First Wave of 2018 Textrons

The name Arctic Cat may be officially dead but the brand's legacy is anything but. Textron has announced the first wave of its 2018 line; a line that will include 18-models in total:

Any word on the new Speedcat? From what I hear it is supposed to be the highest horsepower naturally aspirated UTV. It might be nice for those that don't want the extra complexity of turbocharging.

Good news is that based on there website they are still using the Kymco models on a few of there machines. Kymco models have been around a few years and have proven themselves to be reliable. The Textron models made by Textron themselves will be a test to see if they have corrected their engineering mistakes from the BadBoy buggy days which turned out to be a disaster. The Artic Cat name was a good name in offroad vehicles and deserves to be protected, hopefully Textron will step up to the plate.

The big question is that will the pricing stay the same. Obviously the big discounts and rebates on the remaining Arctic Cat inventory will end but many of the models were pretty competitively priced compared to similar models offered by other brands.

What I don't get with Arctic Cat is how they can call a 443cc motor a 500cc class motor? It anything, it should be a 450cc class motor. I've never understood that from any of the manufactures. I understand being a few cc's off, but come on, that is more than 50cc's different and on the lower end.
