Default Could my problems be caused by the float in the fuel tank????

I have a 2010 Arctic Cat 550 TRV ATV.

Fuel has been getting into the crank case.

I had it narrowed down to
-timing
-injector needs replacing.

But I was thinking today someone mentioned it could be caused by the float in the gas tank sticking or needing adjusting. I know my gas gauge doesn't work anymore. It never says it has as much gas as I know it has.

Could a float be causing my problems? How do floats work in EFI machines?

someone probably thought you had a carbed machine and was talking about the float in the carb bowl needing adjusting or replacing. Your efi so you do not have one. I would almost bet its a dirty clogged injector that's leaking down.

I'm with Zrock...EFIs fuel is under pressure controlled by the injector...if the injector is stuck open fuel will flow until the pressure is relieved...possibly flooding the engine...
