Default 99 arctic cat 500 4x4 Valve clearance

What is the valve clearance for 1999 arctic cat 500 4 x 4

VALVE/TAPPET CLEARANCE (400/500)
Intake 0.05-0.10 mm (0.002-0.004 in.)
Exhaust (400) 0.22-0.27 mm (0.009-0.011 in.)
Exhaust (500) 0.17-0.22 mm (0.007-0.009 in.)

Which do I set the valves at 0.17 or 0.22 mm

All that means is if final adjustment clearance between the rocker arm and valve stem is between 0.17 mm(tightest point allowed) and 0.22 mm (largest amount allowed) then you're fine.
