I have a warn 2500 lb winch,factory installed on Arctic cat l use it with a plow. Now the plow slowly drops down. I took it apart and everything's seems ok. At the end of last winter I put a new up/down switch on it. It worked ok but now this year it keeps dropping. Anyone have any suggestions.

 

According to my KFI winch manual there are clutches inside the winch that could be worn or need adjusting. Can't see it being an electrical problem like the switch. If clutches are worn or out of adjustment it would slip allowing your plow blade to drop. That's my best guess...

 

Winch owners manual should show if there is any way to tighten the clutches.
