Default 2006 Arctic Cat DVX250 2X4

Was given a brand new - well actually a 2006
DVX250 was only driven a few months...Their kids kept crashing so its been sitting in a garage for 10+ yrs.

Anyway charged battery dumped gas and just flushed the carb.

It will not turnover....lights come on...I checked fuses and tugged on a few relays

I hit the start button and nothing...have brakes set...In nuetral...wont turn over or make any sounds......any ideas ???

10 year old battery? If so it's toast.Get a new one.Plus the carb will probably need more than just flushing.I'd thoroughly clean and rebuild one after sitting this long. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Shindy-Carb...daAzwu&vxp=mtr

If you're not getting power to the solenoid small wire, could be a starter relay, neutral diode? or even the start button in the control switch could be a problem. Just a process of elimination. Simple thing like making sure solenoid connections are good,no corrosion especially after sitting 10 years. https://www.arcticcatpartshouse.com/...rness-assembly

Default Must pull clutch in

Even in neutral with the clutch out it hits a switch cutting power. I have a 400dvx and it does the same thing. Just pull the clutch handle in and it will turn over.
