I have an Artic Cat 400 2004 model. Battery just wend dead out of the blue, new this winter. It started with the pull start and runs fine at low RPM. When I give it full throttle it cuts out like its governed (while in gear). It will rev up fine when not in gear. Any idea what might be the problem. Battery appears to not be charging. I'm not sure if its good or not. I don't have lights or any electric when it is running.

 

First off take your battery to a parts store and have them test it. May have a dead/shorted cell in it after the winter.
