Default [VIDEO] Arctic Cat 400 2003-4 won't start. HELP!

Please help! I dont know what this noise means and why the ATV won't start. Recently changed oil, new battery, and new fuel in the tank as well. Thank you for your time!

The noise is just the normal starter noise. How long has it been sitting? When it was sitting was the carb bowl drained? How does the gas smell, if it is more like a varnish it likely went bad. Maybe try the choke, black lever near the green button, in the video, it is up and not active. Slide it down to activate the choke. My 02 won't start without choke.

sadly the choke was down to warm the cold engine already. Thanks for your reply, but it still just won't start. Any other thoughts would be appreciated!

The easiest thing to check is for spark. To do so take out the plug, ground the side to the engine and hit the starter. A consistent spark should happen. If it does I would check the carb jets. Depending on how long it sat it may have clogged them. Easiest way I find to remove the bowl is to just loosen the clamps that hold the carb and rotate it to its side.

Make sure the kill switch is in the on position. Next is spark plug, should have a nice hot spark. Last, check that it's actually getting gas to the carb, I've seen crud actually plug up the fuel line. The carburetor has a primer that you can try.
