2001 arctic cat 250 4x4 carb

2001 arctic cat 250 4x4 carb
wondering if anyone can help me. I bought this wheeler and never ran right. the carb is an after market one and would like to put the right one on. the problem im finding is some say its a Makuni and some say a Keinhin. witch one is it????

It was probably a Mikuni, but KeiHin carbs were also used in some AC models. A used one will be expensive, and you can not always tell in advance if it is corroded inside. Aftermarket carbs CAN be made to work, but it takes a lot of patience and effort. They are usually too lean and rejetting is required.
