2010 arctic cat TRV 550..

Last time I had it out, there was a whinning sound coming from near fuel tank area (under the rear rack). Throttle response was fine and I coudnt' deterime if the noise got worse with more throttle or not.

I'm pretty sure its the fuel pump, but is there other possibilities? What are the symptos of a bad fuel pump?
