Hey guys I picked up my first quad, a 2018 Alterra 300 with 570 miles. Had a little bit of front end damage so got it for what I consider a good price. I've ridden it a little and changed the oil and cleaned the airbox and filter. A couple questions since I'm new to the game...
1. How long does a cvt belt usually last in one of these things? It doesnt feel like its slipping but just wondering what mileage you get out of a belt.
2. The quad starts pretty easily but when it's cold and the choke off, if I put it in reverse and give it throttle it will die almost instantly. It only does this in reverse.
3. When it idles it almost sounds like a slight chirping or squeaking noise is coming from the engine or drive train. Is that normal? I dont really have anything to compare it to so im not sure.
