I have a question perhaps someone can answer. I recently bought a 96 454 Bearcat. I have read that the newer machines steer easier, and it was suggested they changed the geometry of the steering on the new ones. Does anyone know what changes were made and can these changes be made to my machine. I am also thinking a narrower tire running more air pressure would help.

Your thoughts are right, narrower tires and more air pressure will make steering alittl easier.

The geometry was changed from year to year, but I'm not sure what exact parts where changed. I would think it would probaly be either the steering stem or parts that are welded on the frame itself. So it might not be so cheap to update your steering.
