MudCat or Boner might be able to answer this the best-I haven't seen them yet, as my dealer won't have them till October, but from the pictures, it looks as if the lower shock mount has been raised off the mounting assembly further, like a lift kit would do. On my machine, it is damn near level, just raised enough for the eye hole to clear the bracket. The new '02 machines look like that has been raised an inch or two, which would give the taller stance, and as Boner said, the steeper angle-like a "built-in" lift kit already-does that make sense? You can see what I'm talking about pretty clearly on pages 3, and 10 of the '02 brochure, but again, photo's and real life are two different things, maybe I'm way off base here. Do either of you guys know for sure on that?

Again from the pictures, it makes me wonder if they'll come out with a full 2" lift kit for the '02 'Cats, as the angle now looks to be much steeper than the older '01 and '00 models (mine are damn near flat-no angle at all). With the steeper angle already, a lift would drastically increase the degree on the joints there. -any thoughts on that?

Anyway, Thanks for the thoughts on that,

Mike

I got my spacers today, that was great service Highlifter. Ordered on monday installed on wed. $96.00 not to bad. But the best part is, problem solved! No more rubbing and the tires only stick out past the fenders about 3/4". I can get full articulation (?) with no rubbing front or rear. No it won't wheelie, by raising up I mean that the suspension seems to extend or raise when you get on the gas. I also think that it is more willing to slide around a corner than roll even with out the spacers. This could be a result of the top shock mounts being moved out on the rear. But there isn't as much body roll as on the 01. Yes the suspension flexes just as good as before. The front A arms do have a pretty good angle on them much more than the 01. The head lights are 100 times better than the old ones, have a wide pattern and are bright. A handle bar mounted one would be nice though.
The new winch is a snap to install it plugs in, no wires to cut, holes are predrilled. The in/out button is nice as long as you don't hit it instead of the start button. The selonoid clicks only when you hit the button not when you turn the key on.
That is about all I can think of for now. I hope to put it in the mud this weekend so I'll let you know about the diff.
