[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img]Yep, sorry to say you are correct. I have heard of them lasting a long time from that point. But that is when I changed mine. It is really an easy job, if you can change a water pump on a small block Chevy you can handle it.
Boggit that is a good idea I never thought of that. I have used that trick to remove pilot bushings in crankshafts before but I never thought of it for this.

Gentlemen,
I will be up at Nemadji on Saturday working out the kinks on the Cat after the dealer replaced the bearings under warranty. I don't think I will be going thru any deep water though until the warranty expires and then I plan to snorkle the Cat so it can swim with the sharks.
