bass pro vs cabelas
#1
i just received new fall bass pro and cabelas catalogs and the differences are striking. bass pro does not cater to arctic cat at all except for a superwinch mounting plate. cabelas, on the other hand, has a bunch of $hit for the old cat. i am very pleased to tell you guys where i'll be looking for new products to snag for my cat--cabelas, cabelas, cabelas.

Hey man, where the hell you been hiding lately??? heh heh heh
Yeah, Cabela's is a great place to shop, the customer service is excellent. Any questions, concerns, comments, you name it, just send them an email, they'll get right back to you the same day with an answer. If they don't have an answer, they usually let you know they're working on it, then reply with the answer a day or two later. Return policy is great too if you get the wrong size or something. -No, I don't work for them, just have purchased a TON of stuff from them over the years, been a very happy customer! heh heh heh. Well, better get-we got a new "hunting" channel with the standard cable, from what I gather, it's 24-7 hunting shows! YES, FINALLY! Anyway, they're bowhunting elk in New Mexico, better go see what I can learn for my upcoming hunt...
Best of Luck, Good to see ya!

Hey, guys, did you know Cabela's is headquartered in Nebraska? They are opening up stores all over, though. If one opens up somewhere near you you have to check them out. They have a 'bargain corner' (anyway the one by me does) where they sell their returned and scratch & dent stuff. If you can live with stick stoppers someone else lost the mounting bolts to (for half price) but are otherwise in decent shape, that is the place to go (as well as for all sorts of other stuff that was returned for some reason). You just want to be sure that what you get is what you want, because the clearance stuff can only be returned if defective. I know a guy who got a Leatherman Wave that had a tiny chip in the blade he sharpened out of it for $20 in the bargain corner. It is the first place I go when I get there.

In response to Cabela's. They are AWESOME! I used to order from Bass Pro,until I got tired of their backorders. Seemed everytime I placed order some items were placed on backorder. Plus it took up to 3wks to recieve anything from them. Not sure how much shipping to N.Y has to do with it. But I now order through cabelas, and have yet to have a item placed on backorder. Plus I recieve everything within 5 days. Most of the time only 3-4 days. Thats awesome!!!

I just receved the new Cabelas catalog as well. There is a new product I saw that looks like it might work pretty well. It is a handle bar mount for the Fin Grip Pro gun/bow holders. Has anyone tried this product. I currently have the Fin Grip, but I have it mounted off the back rack and the guns and bows get really muddy back there. I was planning on moving it to the front rack this fall, but with this mount, you can come over the top of the front rack off the handlebars. Just curious if anyone has used this product or has any comments on it.
