I have a friend that got a used one last year, 97 bear cat about 3000 mil. and payed 3100 for it. mine is a 98 the worst thing about it I think is, it is the hardest thing to steer, stay with skinniest tires you can put on it they help, they made a recall on the brake lever locking thing and on the carb. if both have been fixed that's good, one check I recommend is Nell down by the front. tires and put your hands on the top of them, then push back and fourth, slow but hard if there is a clicking or a lose feel then the ball joints mite be bad, check the oil in the front. end and back make sure it is not brown, smell it, dose it smell burnt don't get it if dose. good luck
