I surely hope not. This forum will become a flame fest like all the other forums with their two year olds bashing each other.

Ya know, I kinda hope not as well.

To be honest, I doubt it. Nothing in their line up is remotely "sporty" except that little 90cc thing. But even that looks brutish compared to the competition. To be honest, I wish AC's kiddy quad looked like their big ones, complete with racks. If so, I'd have bought one of those, and not the sp90, for my kids.

Who knows, though, they make pretty sporty "sleds" so I am sure they keep the idea in mind. They'd have to shave a LOT of weight from their current offerings, though.

I think it will happen, and happen very soon. Probaly for 2003 they will have one. Just my guess.

About the kiddy quads. That would be pretty funny to have one with 300 lbs total RACK capacity.

It will probably be between 550lbs and 700 lbs, and have a 400cc engine.

I was actually about to write this very topic. I think Artic Cat will probably come out with one. It will probably have the same engine and different chassis. At least thats what I think.

I figure that AC will eventually come out with a sport quad, they should just leave it to Cannondale though. What really needs to happen is to have a utility section and a sport section to each forum at least where it is necessary.

On thing I am certain of...if AC DOES produce a sport quad, it won't be the hefty thing Corndog thinks it'll be (Polaris has cornered the marked on overweight 'sport' quads). When AC chose to compete in the utility market, they made a true utility quad, tough, beefy, and powerful. Should they chose to compete in the Sport market, they will COMPETE in the sport market.

And, Boner, 300 pounds would be great rack capacity on a kiddie quad (J/K), it'd be WAY more than the 30 lbs on my son's SP90.

Arctic Cat making a sport model would be great for our dealership. We are less than a half a mile from an Mx track. I think it would help us GREATLY if they did come out with one.
