I was finally able to post some pictures of a moose that a buddy of mine and myself bagged. He was very heavy and really dragged down the *** end of my Cat.We had to drag him 2 1/2 miles to get him out, thats why some of his hide is worn down.It was neccessary to hook up an (ugh)Yamaha to help steer through the rough stuff and around beaver dams.
He measured out at 49 1/2"and would have went far wider if his one palm wasn't slightly deformed inward.
I've also included some pictures of my bike at only 93 miles on the odometer when I dropped it through the ice in early March of this year.At least it was another Cat that pulled it out.
Please let me know if you can't access the pictures so I can repair if neccessary.I had a very difficult time posting them as I am for all intents and purposes computer illiterate.Sorry I couldn't make the link clickable.

Got that one with a .270 Win.Probably not enough firepower but did the job.I bowhunt and muzzle load for whitetails .Haven't been able to bowhunt much in the last 10 years but now that my kids are getting older I might be able to afford the time required to practise and sit in a tree for the hours on end needed to see the big ones.
How about yourself?

Nice pic's, just got back from our moose hunt got 2 this year between 4 of us. How did you like Eddy's 58" bull we got last year, it was in Ont out Door book a couple months ago. It was largest rack last year & is being scored for Boone & Crockett. I shot one MANY years ago with 60" rack, I'd almost forgot how tough the meat is in a big bull!!
