i purchased my ac 500 auto on december 10, 2000 and to this day it only has 445 miles on it. but i can tell you one thing, those miles were either accumulated while pulling something or just carrying my 350 lb texas butt around. last monday we cleared about 30 cedars out in front of our cabin and, because of their size, we intended to pull them with a z71 after they were felled of course. i got a wild hair and decided that my cat could pull them a little easier than the chevy b/c it was more agile, so we did. a couple of the trees were about 30 feet tall and 10" in diameter and the cat did walk sideways while pulling around a corner but never did it stop and never did it fail. i was amazed what that little kitty could pull while in 4 low.
get one and you will see.

Hey StitchZR2, what kind of problem did you have with the Master Cylinder. A friend of mine burned up my brake lines while riding my 500 Auto. I took it to the dealer and they replaced the line under warranty, but the brakes do not hold pressure anymore. I tried to bleed them again, but it still will not keep pressuere. I am beginning to thing the MC is bad. Anyone else have any other ideas what may be the problem.
Other than this issue, I have had no problems. This isn't the AC's fault either. My friend rode it a mile or so in hot weather with the brake lock on!
Thanks,
Dan
