Hey Chunkyboy, I saw some 589's mounted on a 02 500 AC. Man is that a AWESOME looking tire. With the winch and those tires the Cat should be unstopable. How is the Bayou 220 holding up,I am thinking about getting one for my son.Only because Artic Cat doesnt make one that fits him.Good luck on your bear hunt.hehehe

Hey dude ,That 220 is great ,My son is hard on it , we have had it 2years and the only problems have been boy made , It dont steer good because of the single a arms up front ,I made a bumper that weights 40 lbs to keep the frontend down he he he , but i didnt tell him that, he likes 2 wheels to much ,my frist kawaski It been great quad , still is biggest problem has been bolts coming lose and wring shorts , but that life of a quad ,he put a set of strikers on it that thing goes good, I recomment it to any one

Chunkyboy,

Let me know how you like your 500I.....it was the quad I was waiting for before I bought the 660 Grizz. I can tell ya, my bear goes out with 7 other Cats on a regular basis...so far no cat scratches. <BG>

Happy Holidays!

Hey guys, most of the dealers around here have already received at least 1-400i, 1-500i man, and 1-500i auto. (Received the week of the 7th) My boss went looking at Cats 2 weeks ago and seen them in the crates!! I was told that if I wanted one, they would be ready to go by the 14th. I really didn't understand why it would take so long to get them uncrated. I also don't know why we would have them here in Indiana before some of your other states would. I just thought I'd drop a line and let you know that they are out there!

P.S. of the 4 dealers I called, all but one had 1 of each, and all but 1-500i auto was sold. They said their second delivery would be 2nd week of Dec.

chunkyboy, how much $ are the i cats going for in Va.? That 500i cat with 27 inch tires will have 13 1/2 inchs of ground clearance right down the middle, youou might be able to trap a big Grizzly bear in some rutted out or big rock stuff with all that ground clearance..

I pick my 2002 AC 500i up next friday, finally
In Douglasville, GA it will be $6,668 out the door with the winch.
Of course that doesn't count the grand extra in Arctic Cat accessories I am getting with it

Oh well, I'll post some pictures when I get it.

also, could someone give me feedback on the Titan 589 27"'ers? I am curious how the cats handle going to the larger diameter tires, acceleration, top speed, etc.
