Has anyone purchased a new 2002 Arctic Cat plow this year from their Dealer? In the AC Catalog it shows a black plow appearing to be a steel (metal). The one my dealer has is black, but the actual plow face is yellow plastic, not metal.

Is this the Arctic Cat plow or a knock off?

Thanks.

The AC plows are actually polyethylene (plastic) with a steel-reinforced frame and wearbar. I don't know what the yellow plastic plow would be, but from what I know AC plows only come in black. I have a Moose straight blade plow and have had good luck with it. It's an all-steel plow and has proven very durable.

Merry Christmas everybody!

hey dude's My dealer has the yellow plow's , He said they where ac's , I don't know if they are or not, He said the plastic sheds snow better, said it don't hold the cold like steel dose , I don't know ,I'm trying to decide if to buy one or not, I have a case tractor and a 6' blade , It dose good job but it is slow , I got a winch on my 400-I plus 589's I think it would do a good job maybe better than the tractor , I don't know ,

Cycle Country has some good ones, website is their name. I'm not sure who makes AC's blades for them, can find out for you though. As long as it is a good thickness polyethylene, has good reinforcement, and has good wear bars, they should do good.

Hey Chunky that 400i should make it actually fun to plow snow with. That's one thing I can't do down in Atlanta, plow snow. But it is fun, I've done it with my fathers '86 Honda 350, it's a blast (doesn't seem like work).
