Man! You guys are great!
The dealer actually told me he does change the tires for a lot of people before they even pick up the bikes. I was kind of partial to Dirt Devil's because of the aggressive tread and good ride they are touted for in reviews... Plus they just look really tough to me. I like the titans too, but not as much. Probably a moot point really, but if I do change the tires, it will be the cheaper of the two. I will see if I can get him to throw them in on the deal when the time comes.
Thanks for the comparisons on the 500 and 400. It really helps me get a good perspective and comfort level.
One more reason I like the I series machines is that they don't need a aftermarket lift kit like the competitors usually do if you want to get a lot of GC. Not to mention the Suspension and comfy ride position it gives me.
Last time I rode my Brother-in-laws 300 4x4 cat, I did not even get off the seat because it was so plush and stable. After riding my little 125 all these years I got so used to massive pains in my hips and back from all the body work needed to get the little beast through and over things that I just about can't go wrong on any new machine I pick.
I also rode my Cousin-in-law's Recon. I was mightily impressed with the torque it produced for a small bike and it's ability to hoss me around. It really is a well designed quad. I do know what people mean by weak brakes on the recon though. It scared me a couple times... Thank God for my fast down-shifting foot.
Thanks again fellas.
PS. What do you guys know about snorkeling your Cats? Anyone done one yet?

Sounds like Mudcat gave you the low down. There was another guy on here that had both bikes (00'or 01'can't remember the year model exactly I think 01')he would say the same about them, I believe it was Dakotart If you did a search in the A/C forum you would find some of his threads of answering this same question. He also had a great website full of pic's of the two bikes doing stuff.
Good Luck in your decision.
