I have a 375 auto and primarly use it for hauling pulling and plowing snow with trail rides on weekends. I do not encounter much mud but would like a tire that could handle it. most of the trails around here are sand and hardpack with hills. SO what tires would be the best and how big of a tire can i get without sacrificing too much power and needing extra parts (lifts spacers) Thanks for the Help

Sounds like 25 or 26x10x12 Dirt devils would be a good choice. They look like they would be good on the rock and sand that you talk about. While still being a decent mud tire, smooth ride too. Don't go over 10" width in the rear or you will need spacers.

I have a 375 4x4 with 27x10x12 GBC Dirt Devils all the way around. They are GREAT tires! THere are some recent threads in this fourm that should give you all of the info you need on the Dirt Devils. Do a search on "DD" or "Dirt Devil".

Good Luck!

ethernut, how did the 27's effect the machines overall performance. how do they effect steering. And will the dirt devils work with the stock rims without rubbing anything. thanks for the info

They affected the spedo readout, that's the first thing you'll notice. The most I see on the spedo is about 48mph, but my rolling diameter is larger so I assume I'm actually going a little faster. They will fit on the stock rims with no problem. Remember, get the 10" width all they way around. The 12" width is too wide in the back. The steering actually is lighter now believe it or not. As far as take off... I cant tell much difference, if there is a difference it is slight. I still have plenty of power to do doughnuts in the mud if I want. You'll get more traction than you dreamed, I've rolled my 375 once when doing doughnuts with the Dirt Devils. The back tires grabbed while I was spinning and rolled it over. I hopped off quickly so I wans't involved with the roll. It didnt hurt it a bit either. ;-) Another thing I noticed is that the off camber performance is MUCH better. The 10's in the front make the bike more stable on the side of a hill. With the added traction, the bike has decreased tendency to push in a turn as well. The difference in weight between the stock (CRAP) tires and the addition of the 27x10x12 DD's is about 40 lbs. So you will be adding some weight.

One more thing. The Dirt Devils self clean like CRAZY when coming out of the mud! The 10's fit under the rear mud guards fine, but in the front, they poke out a little. So when in the mud, if you speed up too fast you'll find your self running back into the mud that your tires have slung off.

Hope this helps.

ethernut, Do the 27 inch dirt devils actually measure 27 inches or are they smaller. how much air do you run in them. have you ever been inthe snow with them, if so how did they do. where would be a good place to get a set at. Just about everyone has them and the cheapest i found for 27 is $71.99 a piece plus shipping. is that a good deal? once again thanks for the info

a little off subject but i was out plowing the drive way and decided to go through a pile with the plow on and needless to say she didn't make it. the stock tires just filled with snow and it sat there spinning 3 wheels. i ended up unhooking the winch from the plow and wraping it to a tree in the yard took awhile but i got out of it.... (won't do it again (at least with the plow on))

02AC375, I put some new content in my post above.

The dirt devils do great in the snow! They self clean so well that they didnt leave a trace of snow on the tire when riding.

I measured them when I put them on. The 27's are actually about like a 26. If I had it to do over I would buy the 28x10x12 and put them on all the way around to be totally honest. The width is correct though, a little over 10 inches. I run about 3.5 to 4 pounds in them all the way around. If I was plowing snow, I might let a little air out for added traction. Just wait till you see the tread pattern that they leave in the snow/mud. It's awesome! They make this nasty looking "V" pattern. Wicked...

I bought my Dirt Devils from these guys. http://www.4atvtires.com/store/displ...6&CAT_ID=6

I live in Kentucky, so I wanted to do business with a local Company. They were awesome to deal with!

The price for the 28x10x12 is $77.75 and shipping for all 4 would be about 30 bucks.

If you have anymore questions feel free to ask!

I have been looking for a front bumper to protect those pretty headlights but haven't found any good looking ones. i am thinking about getting the rear bumper that a c has. thanks for all of your help.

Good talking to you!

I haven't done anything else to it just yet. The next mod on my list is going to be a new pipe to replace the massively restrictive stock one. I've ridden with a guy that has a 400ex with a white brothers pipe and I really liked the sound of it. So I'll probably mod a 400ex pipe to my 375.

Enjoy your quad!

Well I finally got the dirt devils on the quad, and man am I inpressed. Who would of thought that something so simple would have made this big of difference.

The steering in and out of 4wd with and with out the plow on is improved (damn near effortless). I can now go places in 2wd that i had a hard time in 4wd with stock tires. the dirt devils throw snow out and into the air behind you when you cruise down the trail (real neat looking).

There is little noticable power loss with the 27 inch tires and clearence is no problem.

Thanks Ethernut for the great suggestion. the only problem i had was finding a place to mount them locally. (my dealer is 30 miles away) I ended up taking them to a walmart and got all 4 mounted for 14 dollars.

Thanks for the help and let me know if you find any cool mods for your 375
