SHOCK SETTING for 500i...
#1
I everybody i'm new to the atv forum, and also I'm not a 100% billingual, but I'll tried to do my best. Now, how many of you, know, what should be the best front and back shock setting for a 2 riders, on a soft to hard trails condition, and with not much roll? I am thinking to position 2 for front and maybe the 4 in the back ( 5 should be the firm ). No mud hole rider, I'm waitting for your suggest, thanks for the help.

well my brother and i both ride on the 500i and we have it on the softest setting. i find this just right. The shocks on cats are rather stiff to begin with to avoid all that roll in the i models so just because it is the softest setting doesn't mean it is real soft.
I weigh 120 and he weighs 170. sometimes he is in the back and sometimes me.
We haven't opened it up yet on tight trails so I can't really comment on the body roll. Soon as it dries up after all the snow melted we will do more of this. But we ahve rode really rough to moderatly rough and the settings are great.
congrats on the ride!!
