After I clean my air filters and dry them, I just soak them good with motor oil and make sure I wring them out good and vola...all done.

Tacky is what you want! I bought some spray-on stuff from PJ1. It is very tacky, just like the factory stuff. Motor oil will eventually drain to the bottom of the filter, leaving the bulk of it untreated. But it IS better than nothing. You may be better off with one of the 'pre-filter' sock-type things, which are good for extreme dust.

Not only will it eventually go to the bottom of the filter, it will also cause the foam to decay over time. The stickier the better.

I've been using Honda filter oil. So far I have complains (it was the only stuff on the self at the Non-Cat dealer). As long as the oil sticks the filter to trap all the dust and other crap it ok by me.

Default AIR FILTERS??

I bought a K&N filter cleaner kit, works good for me, 14$ or something like that, comes with a cleaner and the oil.

I mottocross and i use Bel-Ray foam filter oil, very good stuff, a little pricey but cheaper than an engine.
