Automatic Belt Question
#2
I have over 4100 miles on mine and the belt is still fine and well within specs. I take the belt cover off every 1200 miles or so and clean out the dirt and stuff that is sucked in through the vents. My friends all say I over maintain my Cat, but it's a big investment.

I asked this else where on the Cat forum: I sucked in a little muddy water (roughly a couple of ounces if that) into the tranny when splashing through some deeper puddles. The question is if I should take off the tranny cover and clean out the inside... Maybe even the air intakes. I rode maybe a mile or so with that little water inside (the tranny didn't seem to be acting funny) it really the only time I've ever had water inside of than a drop on two. Any ideas or advice would be great since it’s my first auto quad.
