thank you guys for the info on the recall info on the front wheel joints I was able to call and get the only one he had and be the first on the list. I dropped it off this morning it will be done thursday. I guess the letter is still on the way. again thanks for heads up.

I dropped mine off yesterday and picked it up today. In and out, no hassle. I'm glad they fixed it. Some companies fight safety recalls like that. I appreciate Arctic Cat for doing the right thing, quickly, and for throwing in the 25 dollar coupon. I'm as happy as I was before knowing about the recall.

Hey, me too! I got mine in yesterday at 5:45pm and picked iy up today at 5:45pm! Awesome service! (Bottings Farm & Home Supply, Martville, NY) I actually got lucky. I dropped it off for the brake switch recall. They thought I was dropping it off for the ball joints. So when I called at noon today to tell them to do the ball joints too, they said, "Already done!" They're already backed up to mid-July for the ball joints. Seems AC is sending out 5-7 parts a couple times a week to each dealership. So, get your Cat in ASAP or you'll be waiting. I also had my carb adjusted for a backfiring problem and the RF outer CV boot replaced (the metal band on the wheel side came off). I'm as happy as well. My Cat is actually a little snappier with carb adjustment. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

My dealer, Haltom Equipment, Moorseville, IN, said they had replaced the ball joints on 27 quads so far and they had no one waiting. They said they still had parts, so anyone in central Indiana may want to check with them if they have trouble anywhere else.
