Elaborate Knowsalot. The factory is 30 minutes from my house and they just moved into a bigger building six months ago. What name are they useing now????

 

Hey Sandgod here is an idea for you. Why don't you get some binoculars and/or a camera and do a little investigating. Is that 650 gonna be a V-twin or is it gonna be derived out of the DR650? I didn't hear 650 till just recently. I heard last fall that Suzuki will make an 800 called the QuadDuner for 2004. Who knows? It could be possible, after all they did make the biggest production 2 stroker (the LT500R Quadracer A.K.A. QUADZILLA).

Oh yeah and a....03ZRDaKine the new cats are nice but having three 400s practically all the same will suck. Usually Cat makes a few different changes on the engines from Suzuki. Good or bad I don't know. They did on the 500i, which uses the same engine as the Vinson. They changed the compression, carb and exhauast. The new 400 sport quad should have the "Cat Eye's" as you would say but actually it has really ugly front plastic. It looks like they just cut-off a little plastic from one of their utility quads and set it on the Z400 chassis. I think cat needs to be more creative in thier looks. I also think cat should also use thier own line of shocks as they do on their sleds.

I am not holding my breath for ATK. I spoke with the president about two years ago at a desert race. He said that they were planning on releasing an ATV that same spring. It has never come to be true. I think it would be great if they would. Maybe with the recent surge in sport quads they will finally let it hit the showroom floors?

It's a 376cc instead of the 399cc Zuk motor.

 

Yo 03ZRDaKine not only would the cat look better with the cateyes and team cat green, the person would probably have more pride in it.
Cats new red color isn't too bad either. I still think they should change the front plastic.

Be interesting to see if the 'few more ponies' on the 500 is available as a retrofit...

 

I think the 2 up seat one gets the few more ponies not all of the 500's. I wish it was all the 500's but I don't think so. They also better have a locker and they better be annoucing a bigger machine.
